FUTURE HALL OF FAMERS EDUCATION PROGRAM
Olympian and World Champion kayaker Karen Furneaux is prominent in our program as she continues to pursue her dream of an Olympic Medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Her accomplishment, not only in sport but in life, are an inspiration to all Nova Scotians.
Through the use of video she emphasizes the importance of goal setting and the fact that young people can do anything they put their mind to. Groups will be encourged to join her fan club which she will comunicate with them, giving updates on her training via email as she moves toward her goals of Olympic glory! Join here!
