The Sidney Crosby Exhibit

Plus the History of Hockey in Nova Scotia and the Trophies Exhibit

Opening May 2nd at 10am, the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame, is ecstatic to announce the opening of the Sidney Crosby Exhibit, one of or many new exhibits in celebration of the IIHF World Hockey Championships.

The Sidney Crosby Exhibit features memorabilia from his childhood, the famous dryer and a visual presentation of his first 20 years.

Also on display are the trophies Crosby won in his 2007 season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Hockey Hall of Fame has generously agreed to loan the NS Sport Hall of Fame the Art Ross Trophy for the NHL's top scorer, the Hart Trophy for the NHL's most valuable player as selected by the Professional Writers Association, and the Lester B. Pearson Trophy awarded annually to the most valuable player selected by the players.

Joining the three NHL trophies will be two other significant trophies, on loan from the Canada Sport Hall of Fame is the Lou Marsh -Canada's Male Athlete of the Year (Crosby 2007)

and we will also be showcasing the Canada Cup, won by Team Canada in 1976.

 

The other exhibits include a History of Hockey in Nova Scotia and we are also showcasing Nova Scotians in the NHL.

Professional photographers will be on site so you can have your picture taken with a life size Sidney Crosby and his dryer or one of the famous trophies listed above.

We will be open daily for the general public from 10 am to 3pm through the Metro Centre Box Office entrance off of Carmichael Street.

The Sport Hall of Fame will also be open to IIHF ticket holders during games through the mezzanine entrance within the rink area of the Metro Center.

Entrance Fee:                     

$5 per adult

$2 per child under 12

 

Hours of Operation:          

10am to 3 pm daily from May 2nd to May 14th.

*Ticket holders can access the Hall of Fame

from within the Metro Centre during games. 

Entrance fee still applies.
